Browser Extension Privacy

The Import to Flonslist browser extension helps you copy product details from the retailer page you are viewing into a Flonslist wishlist or registry. This notice explains what the extension reads, when information is transferred, and the browser permissions it uses.
This notice supplements the general Flonslist Privacy Policy, which applies after product details are transferred to the Flonslist website and whenever you use your Flonslist account.
1. When the Extension Runs
The extension runs only after you open its toolbar popup and select Import product. It receives temporary access to the active tab for that import. It does not automatically run on every page, monitor other tabs, or crawl retailer websites in the background.
2. Product Information It Reads
The extension reads product information already displayed or embedded in the active retailer page. Depending on what the page provides, this may include:
- product title and description;
- product image URL;
- price and currency;
- retailer name;
- product page URL;
- availability; and
- product identifiers, such as a SKU or product ID.
The extension displays a preview of the extracted details before anything is sent to Flonslist.
3. When Information Is Transferred
Product details are transferred to https://flonslist.com only after you select Continue in Flonslist. Flonslist then asks you to review and, where necessary, correct the details before saving the product to a wishlist or registry.
The extension does not send product details to advertising services, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
4. Information the Extension Does Not Collect
The extension does not collect or request:
- your browsing history;
- browser cookies;
- passwords, authentication tokens, or payment details;
- complete page HTML;
- information from other tabs;
- background browsing activity; or
- the contents of pages unless you explicitly start an import on that page.
The extension does not sell personal information or product information.
5. Browser Permissions
activeTab
This permission provides temporary access to the page where you explicitly invoke the importer. It does not provide persistent access to every website.
scripting
This permission allows the extension to run its packaged product extractor on the active page after you select Import product.
The extension does not request access to browser history, cookies, downloads, location, or all websites.
6. Storage and Retention
The extension does not maintain a product-history database. It passes the selected product details to Flonslist through a one-time import link. If you save the product, Flonslist stores it according to the general Privacy Policy and your account or list settings.
7. Security
All executable extension code is packaged with the extension. The extension does not download or execute remote code. Import destinations are restricted to the configured Flonslist website, and transferred product fields are validated and size-limited.
8. Changes to This Notice
We may update this notice when the extension changes. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
